Livelihood Support for Persons with Disabilities in Bac Lieu

Bac Lieu, 02 - 03 July 2024, VNAH provided small grants to support the livelihood activities of persons with disabilities in Bac Lieu province. 50 persons, each received a grant worth from US $200 to US $1,000, to support their self-employment, to start up small-scale businesses such as running a food shop, grocery store, production of handicrafts, or farming and vending lottery tickets.
The support was part of the USAID-funded DIRECT project being implemented by VNAH in collaboration with the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) and disability-related organizations DRD and Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin
